5 - You should notify your bank about your destination.
In most big cities and hotels, you can pay with cards. However, in local markets, some souvenir shops, and for street purchases, you will need the local currency CFA. Upon your arrival, we will assist you in exchanging your money.
6 - What to bring with
Pack a small medical kit for your medications if you’re taking any or your health necessities. You may not find them at local pharmacies. Bring comfortable walking shoes (hiking shoes, sandals, and flip-flops for showers), comfortable clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat. For ladies, a headscarf made with African fabric will be provided to you. Bring a book to read or music for long rides. Do not forget a water bottle.
7 - Passport and ID card
We encourage you to make copies of your passport and ID card
8 - Meeting with local people
Respect local customs, culture, norms, and practices. We will teach you greetings and expressions of gratitude in local languages, along with some important cultural norms. It will be an unforgettable experience.
